Shoreacres
Economic Alliance - Houston Port Region - Shoreacres

Shoreacres, incorporated as a city in November 1962 with a current population of approximately 1700, is a community where neighbors still know each other and are active participants in community functions and organizations. Shoreacres residents are eager to take part in programs that promote the cleanliness of Galveston Bay, the protection of our wetlands, and the preservation of our natural resources and wildlife. Designated as a bird sanctuary, the City of Shoreacres takes great pride in the large variety of species that inhabit the local waters, estuaries, and forest areas.
