the Texas gulf coast region.

In August 2007, the
Economic Alliance launched a Port Region
Perception Survey. The purpose of the survey
was to gain a better understanding of local
residents and businesses' opinions on topics
that impact the livelihood of the Port Region.
It asked questions about the petrochemical
industry, community image, workforce,
infrastructure, and air quality.
The results will be used to help direct the
actions of the Solution Teams and local policy
makers.
