The Rail and Trucking
Infrastructure Teams were tasked
with finding solutions to the challenge of balancing
the economic benefits of rail and trucking with the
high quality of life desired by residents.
Transportation access, particularly around the Port
of Houston and other key shipping areas, is a source
of concern. Investment is public infrastructure to
relieve congestion and allow efficient product
movement can directly impact the cost of doing
business and, thus, competitiveness for industry
