INSPIRING AND PREPARING THE NEXT GENERATION WORKFORCE

In one of the world’s largest petrochemical complexes workforce skills are of the utmost importance and it is no doubt that job creation/retention is a direct endorsement of our world renowned business climate.

  • Leveraging strategic private and institutional partnerships in the Houston Port region to attract and recruit a qualified workforce.

  • Providing the career paths and job opportunities/benefits to students, parents, and educators at the middle school, high school and community college levels to address attrition, skill enhancement and hiring needs.

  • Working in partnership with the East Harris County Manufacturers Association and the nine area community colleges to train the potential workforce in highly skilled, high-wage petrochemical, maritime, logistics, transportation, logistics and industrial construction careers.

Please join Chairman Dr. Allatia Harris of San Jacinto College every third Thursday of the month, every 2 months to assist your organization with workforce development needs.
